  Discoverer of talents and new trends in cinema and TV, Pierre-Henri Deleau is one of the founders of the Director’s Fortnight in Cannes, which he has directed for 30 years. Since 1969 he collaborated with more than 14 festivals. General Delegate of several annual events. Art director of the International festival of audiovisual programs (FIPA) in Biarritz, France from 1987. Member of the reading committee in Arte Drama Department since 1990. Since 1997 he is a member of the European Films Academy Board of directors. He co-founded the Production company «Filmoblic» and produced of films «Thomas» (1974), «La Cecilia» (1975), «La Meilleure facon de marcher» (1975), «Dites-lui que je l’aime» (1977), «Le Vieux Pays ou Rimbaud est mort» (1977). Author of more than 10 books about the leading world filmmakers. Winner of the FIPRESCI Award and the Award of the European Film Association «For Contribution to Film Art». He served on the Jury at more than 33 international film festivals. For more than 20 year he lectured at the Sorbonne.
